There is a burger joint down the street from Knott’s named Athena Burger and they have a pretty good taco plate so I stopped by before KSF and ate dinner. I pretty much eat there every Thursday night during October.

Once dinner was finished, I headed over to the park and was able to park in the second row, which is always nice. The line wasn’t bad and I quickly got up to the front gate.

I brought some more of the 3D printed glow in the dark mini ghosts to plant in the Forsaken Lake scare zone. I also checked on the ghosts that I left in The Gauntlet 2 weeks ago and 1 is still in place.

Once I checked on the ghosts, I went through the Chilling Chambers maze because it was close. I then headed over to the Bird Cage Theatre to check out this week’s magic show and picked up my first ICEE of the night on the way there. I have seen this magician before at KSF but his show was a little different this time and still a lot of fun. I typically sit in the front row, center stage, all the way to the right as it is usually empty. This time a couple were sitting in the 2 seats on the end and I sat on the 3rd seat in. I mentioned to the man sitting there that I usually sat there because it is always empty. He mentioned that he was originally in my seat but switched right before I got there. He ended up getting chosen to go up on stage to help with the show.

Once the magic show was over, I picked up my second ICEE and meandered over to the Forsaken Lake zone. While there, I placed 3 ghosts in the area, and updated 2 different KSF fan groups on Facebook as to their locations.

Once the first 3 ghosts were in place, I meandered over by Ghostrider and went through the Widows maze and the Eight Fingers Nine maze.

I picked up my third ICEE and headed back to Forsaken Lake to place 3 more ghosts.

I relaxed in the Carnevil zone for a while but the scare actors were in short supply that night so I didn’t stay long.

There were many more monsters in Ghost Town.

One of the 2 new mazes, The Zoo, has a feature that you can go into it after 11:00 pm and they turn the lights out and give you a dim flashlight to see with. I asked the person holding the maze sign about it and they advised getting in line around 10:45 pm so I got there at 10:40 pm. The wait in line was 120 minutes so I skipped it and went to the othe new maze instead. Mary – The Haunting of Worth House. I drank my fourth and final ICEE while in line.

After that last maze, I walked around for a bit longer and took some more pictures. I left the park at 11:45 pm and clocked in 10,500 steps. When I finally reached my house, I had a message in one of the KSF Facebook Groups letting me that somebody had found one of the ghosts. That was kinda cool.
