We got the opportunity to take a 3 cruise to Ensenada a couple of weeks ago. We went together with a group of our neighborhood friends for a total of 17 people! My family boarded the ship at 1:00 pm on Friday. It was going to be a couple of hours until we could enter our rooms so we stopped by the buffet and had lunch. We then explored the ship until our rooms were available. My youngest son went straight to the top deck that had the activities for kids. He had a great time on the ropes course and found some new friends to play foosball with.
We then stopped by our rooms, made sure that all of our luggage made it OK, and relaxed for an hour or so. We were on a budget so we booked the rooms in the center of the ship with no windows or balcony. The ship left port at 5:00 pm so we headed up at 4:30 to check out the launch party and take some pictures.
We met up with our group at 7:30 pm for dinner at the Sunset Restaurant. The wait staff came out and danced among the diners as a kind of dinner show. After dinner we all went our separate ways, some to the casino, others to the bar, and I went all over the ship taking pictures. At midnight, a bunch of us met up at the Liquid Lounge at midnight for the adult comedy show. I made it back to my room around 2:00 am and asleep by 3:00.
